The Best Workouts of 2020
Workouts have looked a little different in 2020, but they are more important than ever for mental and emotional health in the midst of a crisis. Feeling good on the outside starts with feeling good on the inside. Caring for your physical health makes all the difference. We want to share some of our favorite ways to workout with you.
The Peloton Bike
Like mother, like daughter, Amber and Sabel love the Peloton community. You could say it is a daily ritual for them. Peloton is an American exercise equipment and media company that is well-known for their bike workouts. Many users rave about their game-changing cardio. There are live weekly classes, on demand workouts, motivating instructors, and diverse class types. Amber loves that the community provides a way for her to reach her fitness goals. She shares, “Doing live rides allows me to push myself to get to the top of the leaderboard. Plus, the community is incredible. It is a great feeling when you receive milestone recognitions and support from other riders. For example, you can high-five riders from all over the world! Having access to classes any time, day or night, in the comfort and safety of my own home is an invaluable tool that helps me stay active.”
“Some days it is simply about moving your body. That is when ten minute rides are a great option. Other days call for an hour ride. You can tailor your workout to what your body needs that day” says Sabel. “I love the cool down rides, post-ride stretches, and strength exercises at the end of each session. Nothing compares to the feeling you get when you’ve had a great workout!”
The icing on the cake is the amazing Peloton Instructors. Some of our favorites are Jess King, Ally Love, Cody Rigsby, and Emma Lovewell. Click here to learn more and join the Peloton community today.
At Home Workouts
Lily enjoys BeachBody Home Fitness. They offer programs like P90x and INSANITY. Lily’s favorite is 21 Day Fix Extreme with Autumn Calabrese. Most workouts can be streamed from your phone and take thirty minutes or less. There are real time and on-demand workouts. What makes this program different from others is that it provides a customized meal plan that increases weight loss. Remembering that working out goes hand in hand with your diet is essential in caring for your body.
