Tailored Shorts
Instead of reaching for your trusty old denim shorts this spring, why not try a chic pair of short shorts (I'm not talking about the type that shows your butt cheeks as cute as that is, HAH), but a tailored pair with a thicker waistband. Dress them up with a blazer and heel to add some length to your legs, or go comfy in a cute sneaker!
Green Accessories
I am loving the Kelly Green trend right now. Pick up a pair of green heels or a cute mini purse to complete any outfit!
Flared Jeans, Cowgirl Inspo & Cut-Outs

Flared Jeans
I knew a time when I steered clear of any flare style. As a society I think we've been preparing for the flare jean come back by, even unknowingly, incorporating a cigarette, and then a kick into our wardrobes. But jeans like Frame's Le High Flare are in the forefront now, being worn by the cool girls.
Cowboy/Girl Inspo
Inspo is the key word here. No one should go out in a full cowgirl ensemble with cowskin vests, wide brim hats, and cowgirl boots. Instead, add a subtle hint of it in each outfit. Swap your strappy heel for a mid-calf to knee-high boot or where you would normally reach for a sneaker with that sundress, try a boot. Frame an outfit around a wide brim hat or go for a Canadian tuxedo (my personal fave) every once in a while.
A bonus one for fun...Cut-Outs!
It puts a spin on the most simple of silhouettes and styles. A sundress with cutouts this season? Cooler. A blazer with cutouts on the arm? Cooler. We're close to summer, so why not?

Another trend I am loving is that cutouts are everywhere.. literally. Whether it's a dress, shoes, or bags, you will see these cutout symmetrical shapes showing a little extra skin.

Spring has sprung and one of my favorite parts of the season is embracing floral dresses. Nothing quite says spring to me than a sundress covered in beautiful florals.
Baseball Caps
Overall I would describe my style as very feminine. Ironically, I spent most of my life playing sports so there is a part of me that loves to bring an athletic edge to my style. This spring I like to add a neutral baseball cap to a dress to give it an effortlessly feminine look with that athletic edge.
