Jackie’s New York City Guide 2.0
Visiting New York is a must for the Jackie team. We make it a point to visit the city at least once a year to meet with our favorite designers and get some up close and personal time with the season’s latest trends and textures. You’ve heard us say it before and we will say it again. How a piece feels matters! We don’t just buy things we think look cute online. Our stylists and founder personally test each brand before we decide to share it with our clients. Don’t worry, it’s not all business. You can always find the Jackie girls snacking, sipping, working out and of course shopping. Keep reading for our complete revisited city guide.

Did you really think we'd go to New York without going shopping? If you go to New York, you better go too! Even if you're just window shopping. ;) In between shopping for our clients, we also like to do some shopping for ourselves. One of our favorite spots to shop is in Soho. The streets are lined with every store you could ever want. Some of our favorites to visit are Louis Vuitton, Gucci and Intermix.
One of our favorite parts of New York is always the food!! For breakfast, we recommend grabbing a bagel from Best Bagel & Coffee on 35th. The bagels in NYC are truly the BEST.
For brunch, we recommend Citizens of Gramercy for their avocado toast and Belgian waffle. This was our first time trying this Australian cafe. We got the recommendation from our friend @Tezza and it did not disappoint.
For any time of the day, we recommend stopping by Milkbar for some of their famous cereal milk soft serve with cornflake crunch on top. As you can probably tell, this was mid-day. No shame.
For dinner, we recommend either sushi from Lure or an incredible steak from Quality Meats. Both locations had incredible outdoor seating options too!
If you know us Jackie girls, we can’t go a day without our coffee and we love that NYC has some of the best coffee in the country. Our tried and true favorite spots are Culture Espresso and Blue Bottle. We recommend an iced oat milk latte from Culture Espresso and pairing it with one of their delicious chocolate chip cookies. At Blue Bottle, our favorite is the iced New Orleans with oat milk.
Recap from Sabel
Our goal for our most recent trip to New York was to buy for Spring 2022. While I am a Senior Stylist at Jackie, I am also the Head Buyer. Buying trips to NYC are always fun, but this time looked a little different than the last. We exclusively shopped at our vendors’ showrooms. We spread across the city Ubering from appointment to appointment. It was fun to totally immerse ourselves in a brand by seeing not just the clothes but how they designed their space and which scents they used to elevate the shopping experience. My personal favorite for their aesthetic and layout was Vince. I can’t wait to show you my picks in the spring. I know, it feels like forever from now.
I don’t know about you but we don’t completely abandon all of our daily routines and rituals when we travel. We knew we wanted to train with some of our friends over at @Fizzness at their favorite spots in the city. One morning we went to @punch_force for a hardcore personal training session with boxing included. When we left we headed to a nearby juice place for a green juice. The perfect way to start the day.
Have you noticed my “B” theme so far? Buying, Boxing and last but not least: Bottega. With Bottega being one of the leading brands in the list of on-trend, fall staple pieces we had to stop by and leave with a little souvenir. It’s true, the bags are just as beautiful in person as they are in an Instagram or Pinterest post.
