What to Wear to the Table

The Table

The table is set, the turkey is in the oven, family and friends are on their way over. You step into your closet and ask the infamous question, what do I wear? Insert your #jackiestylist. We have curated three different outfits to wear to the table this Thanksgiving.

The Host

The Hostess

As the host, you have a duty to work the room, run the kitchen and still showcase your style in a functional way. You want to feel confident as you man the kitchen, chase the kids or share a glass with your mom on the porch.

We chose a statement puff sleeve to draw attention and contrasting lines to your silhouette. The contrasting fabrication in the sleeve provides an element of sophistication and class. Pair with a noir coated denim to elevate your look. Our number one choice is the Frame Le High Skinny Coated Denim. These jeans have a soft, leathery feel that is sure to make you stand out as the hostess with the mostest. Add a closed toe, pointed heel to complete the outfit.

Our second pick for the hostess would be a Jackie favorite denim, the Re/Done High Rise 90s Crop Denim. These high waisted jeans can be easily elevated or dressed down depending on the atmosphere of the event you are hosting. We recommend pairing these jeans with an open toe heel for a more casual look.

The Guest

The Guest

You may be bringing a side dish or your favorite red wine as a host gift, but as a guest, your main job is to eat and enjoy! Just because you may be socializing more than cooking does not mean you have to sacrifice comfort for confidence. Our pick for the guest is this beautiful, flowy and feminine Cleobella dress. The subtle peach color is on trend for fall and the elegant tie and button detail adds some gorgeous, elegant detailing. You can’t go wrong with this look.

This dress leaves room for the second piece of pie, but it also elevates your look with subtle patterns and delicate silhouettes. This dress is a great option for an indoor or outdoor event. We finished off the look with a walnut colored rounded toe heeled bootie, perfect for any occasion.

The Lounger

The Lounger

Whether you are lounging on the couch eating leftovers, cheering on your favorite football team or turning on Hallmark for an early Christmas movie, these looks are for you! We are loving these elastic waistband joggers from Velvet and trust us, they are true to their name. They are seriously so soft!

If you are having trouble keeping your lounge and athleisure look elevated, we encourage you to pair a classic white tee with a long cardigan. You can keep an outfit cozy without compromising the quality of your look. Lastly, throw on these Vince slides to complete the look.

We hope whatever you are wearing while you are at the table, you feel loved and thankful during this season. For more of our top thanksgiving picks check out our IGTV The Edit. To be styled by our Jackie stylists for the holidays, click here and apply to join.
