6 Fall Fashion Trends to Follow
Fall is one of my favorite seasons when it comes to fashion. Layers are allowed but not totally necessary yet! Cooler weather is just around the corner which means there are new trends among us.
If you think back to trends last fall, you might remember monochromatic dressing. Well that's back again this year, but there are some new trends to add to the mix too! Your wardrobe shouldn't have to miss a beat this year. These are the best fall trends you need to know about.
One of the saddest parts about transitioning from summer to fall each year is having to temporarily say goodbye to the bright colors in our wardrobe, but who says that we have to say goodbye, anyway? The fashion police will definitely not be getting you this year with your saturated hues on. Think scarlet, tangerine, even cobalt.
AGOLDE does loose denim best lately and Jackie is stocked up to supply our girls with the latest and greatest of loose denim. A good rule of thumb I use when getting dressed in a loose fitting bottom is to keep my top more fitted to offset the bagginess; this is flattering.
I'll admit, I never imagined I would be saying yes to sweater vests but lately I can't resist. At first thought, sweater vests seem preppy in style and I am not preppy. However, when you get more into the neutral colored sweater vest options, they become much more classic in style, much more my speed. I've been loving layering sweater vests over simple white t-shirts and then pairing with denim jeans or shorts of any wash!
Bottega is leading all other handbag designers in this trend. This plush accessory is the new pop-of-color this fall and all the neutral girls said βhallelujahβ! Try mixing up your textures in your wardrobe by straying from the predictable patent/pebble leather bags to the puffy, layered options.
Surprised that colorful trends like saturated hues and lavender are so frequent on this list of fall trends? I am. I love that color allows for a smooth transition from a summer to fall wardrobe.
Think Ski-Chic outfits. Yes, that's right, snow skiing. From the cozy printed sweaters by Re/done, to the tighter fitting bottoms by Commando, we will have a lot of slopecore inspired pieces hitting our floor this fall.
